Visions of Hope provides four life-changing events: The Connection, CROP Presentation, Extreme Vision, and Follow-Up Forums.  These events are offered because we believe everyone can reach their goals and experience their potential regardless of the accidents or circumstances in their lives.

The Connection, a special evening of high energy entertainers and ex-convicts delivering hard hitting messages, helps to warn youths not to repeat their mistakes.   We feel that the "scared straight" method of intervention is too forceful and is only a temporary solution to the problem because the fear that is caused will only lead to more problems.  A better approach is what we like to call Inspirational Intervention.  Through Inspirational Intervention, we are able to provide the opportunity for improvement through insight rather than fear.  This truly unique and entertaining experience will make a lasting positive impression on all who attend. 

The CROP Presentation provides youths with a hands-on experience during a trip inside the maximum security Lancaster State Prison.  While inside the prison, the youths have the opportunity to speak one on one with prisoners serving life sentences.  It is here that they are confronted with the shocking reality of prison life.  This life-changing experience helps to solidify, in their minds, the consequences of gangs, drugs, and a life of crime. 

Extreme vision is an intensive two-day event conducted by Dean Crenshaw himself.  It is designed to provide explosive growth in leadership, communication, relationships, time management, and goal discovery.  Participants are assisted in exploring their inner needs to extract purpose from pretense. 

Follow-up Forums are an open round table discussions giving youths the oppertunity to talk to Ex-cons about live styles and choices in a loving personal mannor every thursday night.  Parents and mentors.. this is the place to birng your children to assist them in discovering answers to the conflict in there lives.  There is no jugdment here, only straight answers.  The meeting is a melting pot of psychoanalysts, self help teachers, ex-cons and assorted reformed gang menbers, Bikers, community leaders, pastors and poetic geniuses.  No races or genders.. all persons are equal.
